There is amazingly over 3m (10 feet) of steel wire in each fruit loop. The simplicity of the design hides the complexity of the making of it, but perhaps this is part of its charm. It looks stunning when full of fruit, but just as good with only a single apple. While ideal for fruit like apples, it does struggle with cherries.
