The Bosch AdvancedTemp Thermodetector is a versatile temperature measurement device with a temperature range of -20°C to +200°C.

The AdvancedTemp is the accurate and easy-to-use tool for better living quality and energy efficiency at home. It uses infrared spot measurement in combination with ambient temperature analysis to pinpoint weaknesses in room climate and insulation. Intuitive to operate, the compact tool has four modes for an excellent overview of surface and reference temperatures, mould risks, and energy loss. In surface temperature mode, the AdvancedTemp takes readings from -30°C to +500°C. Results are easy to interpret on the tool screen thanks to a traffic light LED.

Functions and Advantages of AdvancedTemp

Precise values for a wide range of surfaces

The AdvancedTemp measures the surface temperature of radiators, underfloor heating, fridge interiors, and other areas, and provides a wide temperature range from -30°C to +500°C. The current and the last values are saved on the screen.

Easy surface temperature comparisons

In reference temperature mode, values, for instance for fridges, can be set and compared for quick interpretation and consistent temperature control. An LED above the screen lights up in blue or red to show value differences.

Detects energy loss sources

In thermal bridge mode, the AdvancedTemp identifies cold bridges by measuring and comparing surface and ambient temperatures. Results are easily interpreted thanks to a traffic light LED.

Detects mould for a healthier home

For a healthier home, mould risk is determined by analysing relative air humidity and ambient temperature and setting the dew point in relation to the surface temperature. A traffic light LED provides easy result interpretation.

Simple interpretation of results

Reading and interpreting measurements have never been easier thanks to a traffic light LED which appears above on the screen.

Pre-selection for high, medium, or low emissivity materials

Features predefined emissivity settings for three different material groups and indicates material examples for each setting on a sticker.

Emissivity information via QR code

A QR code found under ‘information’ in the tool’s emissivity menu can be scanned for online access to details about the emissivity groups and materials.
