2Lions Sabatier SARLAT/IDEAL incl. 5 fully forged knives

This French brand comes with a fully forged, made in France, knives set from their brand 2Lions Sabatier. The black, painted SARLAT Block comes with a walnut top part and  features 5 IDEAL knives which are made of 4116N Stainless Steel, and they have a black POM handle.

The 5 knives that are included are:

– Chef Cook’s knife 20 cm

– Bread knife 20 cm

– Carving knife 20 cm

– Utility knife 12 cm

– Paring knife 10 cm

Steel + Nitrogen N4116 Nitro+ Fully forged

N4116 Nitro+ Steel: Nitrogen-strengthened stainless steel, manufactured in France.

Composition: Chromium-Molybdenum-Vanadium (X50CrMoV15) + Nitrogen (N)

N4116 Nitro+ vs 4116: Hardness (58-60 HRC), Cutting ability and stability (+/-25%), Corrosion resistance (+/-25%)

Hot forged from a single piece of steel. Qualities of fitness, balance and durability superior to all those obtained by other processes:

– Heating and compression (to get a ball that will become the bolster)

– Stamping of the knife`s shape (blade, bolster, tang)

– Cutting out of the final shape of the knife.

– Piercing of the tang
